GCH Clinics is pleased to welcome Sara Van Effen, ARNP, to GCH Clinics in Panora. Van Effen joins Dr. Strehle, DO, as an additional provider at the clinic and is accepting new patients.
She will be seeing patients for urgent care needs Monday through Friday from 7:30-9:00 a.m., no appointment needed. After 9:00 a.m. on Monday-Wednesday, she will be seeing patients by appointment only.
Van Effen attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan for both her ADN and BSN, graduating in 2000 and 2001, respectively. She received her MSN from Ohio University to be a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014.
“I enjoy all aspects of family practice care. The best part of my job is meeting new people and educating those that I meet on better health and wellness, all the while learning from others whether it be advances in healthcare or learning from my patients, family, friends or coworkers how to make the most out of life, how to cope, or how to comfort. Encouraging others to become knowledgeable about their health and become actively involved in the care that they receive is important to me. I LOVE that I can “partner” with the patient to help them receive accurate information and fulfill their healthcare desires,” stated Van Effen, ARNP.
Van Effen continues, “I am excited to say that I recently joined Guthrie Center Hospital and Clinics to continue practice in family health and in urgent/emergency type settings, closer to home. I look forward to partnering with you to provide health and wellness to you and your family.”
