In response to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) revised recommendations issued September 23rd, Guthrie County Hospital and GCH Clinics is removing the mask requirement for patients and visitors regardless of vaccination status effective October 3, 2022.

Out of respect for patients and our healthcare staff, masks are strongly encouraged for those with symptoms of an infectious disease such as cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea.

Guthrie County Hospital and GCH Clinics remains committed to providing a family-centered care environment and we continue to follow strict cleaning protocols. We also offer hand sanitizer and mask stations throughout our facility for patient, visitor, and staff use. We continue to monitor COVID-19 community spread as defined by CDC and when community transmission levels are high, we may need to change and revise the restrictions accordingly.
