HR Clerk – Human Resources

Guthrie County Hospital has a full-time HR clerk position available. This position reports to the Administrator of Support Services/HR Director, works an average of 40 hours per week, on varying shifts.

Assist the Administrator of Support Services/HR Director in daily activities fully supporting the Guthrie County Hospital (GCH) Mission, Vision, Values & Organizational Excellence-Behavior Standards, following the Policies and Procedures of GCH. The Human Resources (HR) Clerk is responsible for the administrative day-to-day support for HR operations and will assist in a variety of HR tasks including, but not limited to, assisting in all aspects of recruitment, orientation, benefit enrollment and other tracking and reporting measures and processes. Prepares and distributes reports and/or correspondence as needed or assigned. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Partners with the HR and Payroll departments to achieve and surpass goals of the department and to fulfill the annual goals of GCH. Must be able to work under pressure and be flexible.

• High School Diploma, required
• 6 months to 1 year experience in Healthcare setting, preferred
• Customer service experience required with preferred experience in data entry
• Ability to organize and promptly prioritize work to meet multiple deadline needs with strong attention to detail
• Ability to compose high level written correspondence and other documents including professional interpersonal correspondence
• Computer experience required with knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and Power Point
