Guthrie County Hospital is pleased to welcome Hallie Hahn, MD, who will be providing ophthalmology services and cataract procedures starting in February 2025!

Dr. Hahn is a graduate of the University of Florida where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering. Her academic excellence continued through medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), where she received her MD and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society. Dr. Hahn also completed her medical internship and Ophthalmology residency in South Carolina at the Storm Eye Institute of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She then joined Kugler Vision in Omaha, NE where she practices cataract and refractive surgery.

Dr. Hahn is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She has published several peer reviewed publications and presented her ophthalmic research at numerous national conferences. Throughout her career she has demonstrated dedication to service, including serving as clinical director of a free eye clinic during residency and participating in international healthcare initiatives, with notable volunteer work in Belize and the Dominican Republic.

Outside of her rewarding profession, Dr. Hahn enjoys spending time with her husband and friends. Dr. Hahn is also an outdoor enthusiast and her hobbies include skiing, hiking, camping, and running.


Hahn will be consulting with patients and performing cataract and glaucoma surgeries. She will be accepting new patients beginning in February 2025. Dr. Brandon Menke has served GCH for 3 years and was instrumental in bringing cataract surgery services back to GCH.  We want to thank Dr. Menke for his dedicated service to our organization and the patients we serve and for assisting in the transition of services to Dr. Hahn so that GCH can continue to provide these services to our community.

We are confident that during this transition, the high-quality personal care we strive to deliver will not be compromised.
