Construction Update

Guthrie County Hospital is undergoing important construction improvements. During this time, temporary access changes will be in place to ensure patients can continue to reach clinic services safely and efficiently. A detailed map showing updated entrances and parking areas is included for your convenience.

GCH Specialty Clinic (Temporary Entrances & Parking – Effective February 25)

  • All patients visiting the GCH Specialty Clinic will use the temporary entrance located just south of the ambulance bay.
  • Temporary specialty clinic parking is available in the lot south of the ambulance bay.

GCH Clinic – Guthrie Center (Temporary Relocation to South Trailer – Effective March 2)

  • GCH Clinic – Guthrie Center will temporarily relocate to the clinic trailer positioned south of the hospital.
  • Pediatrics, which is offered on Tuesdays only, will also move to this temporary location on its clinic day.
  • A designated clinic parking lot is available directly next to the trailer for easy patient access.

Emergency Room/Main Entrance (Temporary Entrances & Parking – Effective March 3)

  • All patients visiting the Emergency Room/Main Entrance will use the temporary entrance located on the north side of the hospital.
  • Parking is available on the east side of the hospital.

Inpatient Nurses’ Station – (Effective May 11)

  • The temporary inpatient nurses’ station will be 2/3 of the way down the east-wing, inpatient hallway.

Traffic Update for 12th Street – (Effective June 1)

  • Beginning on June 1st, the east half of 12th Street will be under construction for the installation of a new storm sewer. Traffic will be reduced to one-way during this phase of the project.
    • UPDATE (6/2/2026): 12th Street, just south of Brown Street, will be completely shut down in both directions for approximately two hours this morning while the crew ties the sewer in.

Important Notes

  • Patients are encouraged to allow extra time for parking and navigation during this period.
  • Clear signage will be posted to guide patients to the correct entrance and parking area.
  • GCH staff members will be available on site to help with directions and support as needed.
